Then I decided to link this with Russian President Vladimir Putin converting one of his old entertainment rooms in one of his palaces into a mini church.... The entertainment room used to have a pole for pole dancing... Yes, it's all rather complicated because Putin also claims that he is fighting satanism. So whilst researching pole dancing in churches, I found a lot of different stories of Christian churches of all types desperately trying to attract new followers. The American megachurches are putting on Christmas extravaganzas that are so wild that even the mainstream media have decided to criticise. I think light/laser shows inside and outside of churches is acceptable. Raves and nightclubs for young people is acceptable outside of the main services

Even old men doing Irish dancing in church is OK. However, I draw the line at fakery and some African churches are going for bust, see links below. One of my favourite movies of all time is Leap of Faith (1992), a comedy-drama about a traveling revival show (you can watch for free here Link).
The comedian/actor Steve Martin plays the fake evangelist (Reverend Jonas Nightengale), running high-tech tent campaigns and faith-healing scams. If you have not watched this movie, I don't want to spoil it, but I can say that faith in a higher power works because there are higher energies and powers in the universe.... Fakers like to control, but they can't control everything....
Anyway, for many people going to church events is pure entertainment/tradition and not much about true spirituality. I like the idea of story telling using drones, great for children, but besides that, this little collection is just where I think things have just gone too far the wrong way. I have not bothered with videos that show degenerate behaviour like night club dancing and/or attire in black US churches. DYOR.
