Australia. There are a lot of similar examples on social media. Surprisingly, this is not an exampe of a new cloud classification. Rather this is a pannus cloud, a type of roll cloud displaying ragged shreds sometimes constituting a continuous layer, situated below another cloud and sometimes attached to it.
On social media it is also referred to as a 'scud' cloud. However, these dramatic examples are not reflected in the official International Cloud Atlas Link.
Since geoengineering efforts are becoming more intense, is it that these dramatic scud clouds are obviously artificial?
